Pentagrams are the star WITHOUT the circle. An upright Pentagram is a favorite symbol of many Pagans and Wiccans and the five points of the star represent the five elements of Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit, and is used as a protection symbol and it itself corresponds to the element of Earth.
Elements - Pagan paths adhere to the belief that divine beings oversee the four main Elements of the Earth, the very core of life itself, those Elements being, Earth, Air, Fire and Water. The colors attached to these Elements are used to represent their powers. Green for Earth, Yellow for Air, Red for Fire and Blue for Water. All things on the Earth are made up of one or more of these elements. The Fifth element, not always depicted in symbolic jewelry, is that of Spirit, that which DOES represent the divine beings overseeing all the others. The color associated with spirit is clear/white and on a pentacle or pentagram is most often the point that points upward toward the heavens.

Amber is a traditional gemstone of Wiccan High Priestesses, and a wonderfully powerful stone. Amber is associated with the fifth element, Akasha or spirit, because they were once "living" beings, both having been derived from plant material. It is superb at healing, and is great for aligning all the human energies with those of the universe. Clear Quartz works well with all the Chakras. Clear Quartz, when used in combination with any other stone, amplifies its energies and increases it's healing powers. Ancient peoples were convinced that Clear Quartz was a form of ice because of the way it crystalized and the clearness of the stones.
Beautiful and unique earrings, with Copper and Bright Aluminum Chain Maille dangles, and a beautiful Pacific Opal Swarovski Austrian Crystal bead drop at the bottom. I used a variation on the Byzantine Weave and Rose Weave on these lovelies. I love to use different colors of metals together, and the aqua color of the Swarovski looks great with the combo!
