Pentagrams are the star WITHOUT the circle. An upright Pentagram is a favorite symbol of many Pagans and Wiccans and the five points of the star represent the five elements of Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit, and is used as a protection symbol and it itself corresponds to the element of Earth.
Elements - Pagan paths adhere to the belief that divine beings oversee the four main Elements of the Earth, the very core of life itself, those Elements being, Earth, Air, Fire and Water.
