Lovely little pet collar charm, great for cats or dogs. This great charm has a Pewter Star with a Crescent Moon cut out, with a wireworked link with a Faceted Czech Glass bead and base metal beads and bead caps and is attached to a lobster claw clasp. Many ancient cultures used stars in five or six points for a variety of purposes, but most often as signs of protection, and the different points represent different aspects of their belief system. Pentagrams are the star WITHOUT the circle. An upright Pentagram is a favorite symbol of many Pagans and Wiccans and the five points of the star represent the five elements of Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit, and is used as a protection symbol and it itself corresponds to the element of Earth.
Elements - Pagan paths adhere to the belief that divine beings oversee the four main Elements of the Earth, the very core of life itself, those Elements being, Earth, Air, Fire and Water. The colors attached to these Elements are used to represent their powers. Green for Earth, Yellow for Air, Red for Fire and Blue for Water. All things on the Earth are made up of one or more of these elements. BELLS: Bells have been used in many cultures and in many ways. Bells are often
rung during Pagan/Wiccan Rituals to help call the four corners, and by other spiritual
paths to send away evil spirits.
BOOK OF SHADOWS: The Book of Shadows, is a witch's journal where all her spells, potions, and magickal thoughts and notes of all kinds are kept and recorded. Many BOS are passed on from generation to generation, either through families or coven traditions.
CANDLES: Great tool for moving energy. Candles are used to light our alters, represent the God and Goddess. Different colors are used for different spellwork, and candles are the only tool that represents ALL elements, earth when solid, fire when it, air when smoking and water when melting. Candle Magick is among the strongest and most used of all magick.
Pentacles are a five pointed intertwined star inside a circle. To many Pagan and Wiccan traditions, the Pentacle most commonly symbolize the elements of life, with the points of the star meaning, Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit, and the circle around them all symbolizes eternal life in birth, death and reincarnation, and also the Wheel of the Year, life going on in an endless circle with no beginning and no end. The Pentacle is an old, old symbol, frequently found on ancient pottery and even found in the Egyptian Pyramids. It is a symbol of protection, even used by law enforcement officers and those in the military. It is quite an important and powerful symbol, which is still in some places mistaken for a symbol of evil and satan worship which is just totally untrue and misguided.
Clear Quartz Crystal is by far and away one of the most useful stones of all. It is a powerful all purpose stone, possessing both the ability to send energy as well as receive. It is a great stone for tapping into the powers and energies of the universe, bringing the energies of the universe into oneself. It is superb at healing, and is great for aligning all the human energies with those of the universe. Clear Quartz works well with all the Chakras. Clear Quartz, when used in combination with any other stone, amplifies its energies and increases it's healing powers. Ancient peoples were convinced that Clear Quartz was a form of ice because of the way it crystalized and the clearness of the stones.

Jet is a type of fossilized wood, similar in it's properties to coal, and is often found with coal. It is a very lightweight and soft gem, due to it's wood content. Jet is very calming and relaxing helping to rid one of depression. It helps to remove fearful thoughts and is great to protect against disease and violent attacks. It is a great aid for those in business, protecting ones pursuits and helps to stabilize your finances.
Labradorite is a gorgeous stone, gray-brown-green in color, mostly transparent, with a beautiful iridescence of bright blues and greens. It is a very striking stone with very powerful energies. It is a "stone of the stars" allowing us to connect with the energies of other planetary beings, and bringing their energies to ourselves. It helps build up our confidence, and aids us in dealing with others.
Pearls are wonderful gems, not really stones, but organic in nature, are products of oysters and are usually cultured, that is, the oyster is implanted with a foreign object for the Pearl to grow around and then later cultivated when they reach the size desired. They come in many different natural colors and are also dyed or color inhanced. They are associated with the elements of water and spirit. They emit warm, gentle loving energies, and help to encourage compassion. They bring the loving energy of the sea to the wearer. They bring Goddess energies to whatever they are connected to.
