Beautiful Sterling Silver Artisan Crafted Earrings and Cuff Set, with Sterling Silver Cast Star charms and Sterling Silver Moon Face cast charm links, with Sterling Silver Chain drops with Swarovski Austrian Crystal beads and Rainbow Moonstone gemstone beads. The ear wires are hand-crafted from 20 gauge Sterling Silver Wire and I have hand-hammered them for a great look and ease of wearing. The Sterling Silver Ear Cuff I crafted from 22 gauge wire. Lots of sparkle and great symbols!

Stars are symbolic of many things. Many ancient cultures used stars in five or six points for a variety of purposes, but most often as signs of protection, and the different points represent different aspects of their belief system. Stars are also representative of the universe, and are often used in Astrology, I'm sure everyone has heard the saying "written in the stars". Stars are also "Suns" to other solar systems, our own Sun is a "Star" to some other distant planet! Stars and their symbolic meanings have played a large role in human history, using stars to navigate by, the Star of Bethlehem to guide the wise men, and many, many more such stories. Neat symbol!

MOON-The Moon is connected to the Goddess, women, fertility and water for many reasons. It was connected to the Goddess/Women/Fertility because the full moon and the cycles of the moon coincides with a woman's reproductive cycle, appearing every 28 days. It's affect on the oceans tides and water in general, make it a Water Energy, as well as affecting intuition and all around Magick. The three phases of the moon, Waxing, Full and Waning, also connect it to the Triple Aspect Goddess of Maiden, Mother and Crone. Wonderful symbolism, and wonderful SYMBOLS.

Rainbow Moonstone can be used to invoke the power of the Moon, as well as for intuition, inner wisdom, and knowledge. It vibrates with feminine wisdom and with Goddess energy. The Rainbow effect invokes a spectrum of light, and is very cleansing and uplifting. "Romans called the moonstone "lunaris", and believed it enclosed the image of Diana (goddess of forest and groves), who could endow love, wealth, victory and wisdom to the owner. Greeks called it "aphroselene" which signified the splendor of the moon, or a moonbeam."
