Connemara Marble is wonderful gift for the Emerald Isle, and is found only in the Western Mountains of Ireland. It is estimated that it is about 500 million years old, and ancient artifacts have even been found made of this wonderful mineral. I created these beautiful Victorian Styled earrings with a byzantine variation chain maille weave, with one of my hand-crafted polymer clay Rose Art Beads as the center piece, and dangles with Swarovski Austrian Crystal, Czech Glass Leaf beads and faceted Glass Briolettes. The chain maille rings are all polished Bright Aluminum, the wire used for the dangles is Sterling Silver and the Ear Wires are hand-formed and hammered ear wires I created from 20 gauge Sterlng Silver wire.

Bright Aluminum is as shiny as Sterling Silver, but doesn't tarnish, and is VERY lightweight. And it is also MUCH more affordable!!!
